After I watched Frozen, I had an idea for not one, but two shrines (what can I say, it's addictive, LOL). The thing is, one of the proposed shrines is unusual, and I wanted to kind of air this idea before I ran with it.
As I watched the movie, my former-middle-school-teacher brain circuits kicked into gear for some random reason, and I began to analyze Elsa and her predicament as I would have done any gifted student that had entered my classroom. I started thinking, "This kid doesn't need to be sequestered away from her sister and taught to confine her gift--she needs an individualized education plan which includes social/emotional education and private magical tutoring!" (LOL, you can tell I paid attention in my Diverse Learners class in grad school xD)
So, I thought about doing a shrine, possibly a one-pager, which would discuss the following:
- How Elsa's upbringing depicts the wrong way to teach/handle a gifted child;
- How Elsa's fears reflect the emotional reality of many gifted kids, being treated as little adults when their hearts are still children;
- What types of education, tutoring, and counseling should have been instituted instead
What do y'all think? Too complicated/technical/weird?

Do it do it do it. I'm all for "abnormal" shrines! I'm trying to make one myself for DDS and its queerness.

I think that this would be an interesting idea. Elsa already has a number of shrines, so doing something different would bring a fresh take on her character. : )

Eee :D Yes, I will definitely affy with your Elsa shrine (and anybody else's)--it was because so many quality Elsa shrines already exist that I ended up thinking about this in a really different way. :D
I'm excited about this now--I'll probably poke around with it, research a little more, and then see what I can come up with. (Translated: I'll finish the shrine in a mad dash today, and post the link here at around 4am tomorrow xD)

Omg yes, do it!
I accept your challenge, "high prince", but I am no general.

I think it's a great idea, Robin! Like Samantha said it would be nice to see her character approached in a new way like that. And if you do make this I would love to affiliate!
If you're interested in time travel, meet me last Thursday.

How about an image of her ice palace?
