Recently watched movies

@Destinie The Raven was pretty 'ok', I didn't guess it until the magnet thingy lol. Especially considering they have such a small role in the film prior to finding it out.
I did really like how the ending tied into Poe's life and gave an imagined explanation for why he was last seen in that state. Would like to see more imagined explanations for it.

@Destinie & dubiousdisc Metropolis IS beautiful! You should definitely take some time for it!! What other films are by Tezuka, are they similar?

If I have seen others, I don't remember at the moment. The next ones coming out that I will be seeing: Despicable Me 2, Hunger Games 2 (Yes, I'm on that bandwagon...), Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.

Super excited, we have plans to see the next Hobbit in a huge IMAX about an hour away from us ^___^.

(about Metropolis, I'd recommend watching it to anyone who hasn't; the art style and animation is nothing short of gorgeous, and regardless of liking the plot I can't imagine someone not being amazed at how it looks like at least XD)

I've also seen Mortal Kombat Annihilation recently. Movie night is Saturday but not sure what mum is gonna pick.

I enjoyed The Raven. I didn't have expectations because Cusack was it.

Batman Begins. :D I blame the fact that the movie channel was playing nothing but superhero movies last night and Dad and I had caught the end of the third movie (for some reason I can't remember the name...). Been so long since I saw this movie.

Watched Godzilla vs King Ghidora. :3
So, for some reason, the English dub was incredibly sexist! Switched to Japanese. For some reason, they made the reporter woman (she is one of the main characters of the film) seem really stupid. It's always weird to see how the subtitles and the dub vary so greatly.

I just watched Dark Shadows two nights in a row! love the movie. Tim Burton never fails to entertain me!!

Oh god I just forgot the name of the movie! But I also watch The Three Musketeers and The Expendables. Oh I remember it was, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Which was totally different from what I was expecting but it was good. Also watched RED.

Somehow Dad and I ended up watching Hotel Transylvania on TV and it was amazing.

Watched "Joseph, King of Dreams" by Dreamworks yesterday. This is my "I need to watch animated movies" period. XD

Watched Godzilla vs Hedorah. That one is pretty silly. (On a Godzilla kick as of late.)
