Shrine Meme Site upcoming

I'd like to build an Amassment Shrine Meme page where all of us could create and submit memes about webdesign, development, shrine-making, etc. Trouble is, not really sure how to do that without resorting to something like Tumblr or WordPress.

What do y'all think? Would this kind of site even work or be interesting?

Dude, you do you! So sure, why not!
For how to do it, I don't think there's really a way out - it gotta be some sort of CMS or it will be too much (and unneeded) work. Sure, there are more primitive ways of doing that, but I say, why bother breaking your back and make something sub-par when the tools are already out there. But that's just my two cents.

Woot! :D I agree, a CMS would probably make this a lot easier. Tumblr's usually better at handling photo posts, I've found...perhaps that's the best way to go for this sort of thing. ^_^

As for submitting memes, maybe I could keep an eye on the Shrine Memes topic and upload the ones that get posted there? That might be cool.
