Custom "Lifestream" Page? Is It Possible?

I've been kicking around the idea of making a self-hosted page where all my social media feeds can live (like my Tumblr, Pinterest, blog entries, web updates, etc.). The only problem is, I don't know of a service or script that can do all that I want it to do. (Even after 10 years in this field, I'm still a code newb, LOL)

I even thought about having another WordPress install just so I could get access to some of the cool widgets that can bring in social media feeds, but somehow that seems a bit clunky.

Anybody ever made a page like this or know how to make one work? Advice is greatly appreciated :D

I would have to find the resources again but I have seen it done. It is definitely possible and IIRC not overly complicated.

OK, cool! I was beginning to wonder if it was possible for somebody of my coding prowess, LOL :)

I bring goodies!

I found a tutorial on own to use SimplePie to build a custom Lifestream page, and I found this video screencast by Chris Coyer too. I knew he had done something like this! It looks simple enough to make work. Let me know if it helps.
