Aww, that sucks. But if it makes you feel any better I have a bad sense of direction as well. I can only get anywhere but recognizing my surroundings, but if someone were to ask me directions I'd not be able to give them an answer lol.

I must be the only person who didn't think the water temple was really that bad. I beat it with no difficulty. The water temple is very systematic, you just need to work from the bottom up. I think the Gerudo village is the hardest! (I've been stuck on it for years.)

I thought the Gerudo was the easiest O.o;; sneaking around is fun. ^_^

How'd I miss this reply? Man! I remember playing Wave Race all the time. That was a big deal when it came out on the 64! I remember playing it in arcades, too. It was pretty fun I was surprised. :D
