Re: Pokémon (General)
Oh man, bugs!! I glitched the crap out of my copy of Blue - the Hall of Fame eventually gave these weird-ass skeleton pixels and stuff. Missingno was one awesome glitch! Glitch City too.
As nostalgic as glitches are, I appreciate Nintendo is a lot better at QAing their games.

Hey, welcome to Amassment! I remember dark-ocean.net too.
Lovely domain you have! Your Hanon brings back so many memories. Hanon was my favorite character in MMPPP too, haha.

Re: Anime and manga favorites!
Oh yeah, I forgot about Time Stranger Kyoko. Kyoko was pretty strong-minded compared to your average shoujo protagonist. It's a short series, so maybe it'd be worth the read.

Re: Animated Series
Man, I loved watching cartoons as a kid! Some shows I liked include Captain Planet (GOOO PLANETTT!), Rugrats, Scooby Doo, The Little Mermaid Animated Series, Doug, Thundercats, and Inspector Gadget. I could name so many more, but that'd make me look like a TV Junkie, ahaha. :) I still like watching ...

Re: Anime and manga favorites!
I third the sentiments on Tanemura. Her best work was definitely Fullmoon, though I did prefer the anime a little more. I liked the anime's take on Mitsuki better. Shinshi Doumei Cross fell flat after volume 4 or so. Haine started to grate my nerves after a while. Her later works didn't appeal to me...

Re: Currently watching....?
Madoka was supposed to get an English dub, so you could probably try to watch that. The voices seemed pretty decent from what I recall. The series is okay. It has enough entertainment value to keep your attention span until the last episode. I personally think it's overrated on whole. As they say, d...

Re: Pokémon (General)
Hmm, I'm probably in the minority here, but I like the newer designs. They just appeal a little better to me. Generation 4 designs were kinda hit-or-miss for me, but Generation 5 was a keeper in my book. My favorite generation would have to be Generation 2 (GSC). I started with Pokemon Blue and got ...

(Slowly) Mulling through Little Busters! Replaying it since the anime is airing next month. Riki x Kyousuke forever. *cough*
But dude, this game needs an otome spin-off.

Re: Your video game genre(s)
Well, there are some studies that show videogames improving cognitive function. It's not too hard to see either. Even a simple platformer requires a player to come up with solutions to certain dilemmas. More research is needed, but I can't imagine videogames being "brainless" or "mind...
