Site Birthdays

Do you know your sites' birthdays? Do you ever do anything special for them on their birthdays? I don't really do anything special for mine, but I was working on my Edward site today and realized that I debuted that site exactly 3 years ago today! It got me curious, so I went and tracked down the birthdays of all of my sites. Most I've recorded on the sites' "background" or site pages, but I had to dig through archive.org for some.

Funny to note is that my Sabin site debuted on today's date, too! It's exactly 8 years old today.

Some I wasn't quite sure how to list as they started as a fanlisting and were later turned into a shrine. I added both just to be safe. It looks like I was most active in 2014 anyway with most of my sites being made in July. xD

I love knowing my sites' birthdays, so I do keep track of them on listography. I'm lazy, so I will just link to the list here. Just looking at the shrines (because the list does include all of my sites), I see I am pretty active in summer months. I think that has to do with the One-Page Marathon, heh.

I don't really do anything for sites' birthdays. I would like to, but as always, I procrastinate and then it is too late. I do think a layout change would be a nice way to celebrate a site's birthday, and I hope to do that for at least one of my sites someday.

Huh. About what I expected; I knew I made a ton of sites last year. I left off all the sites I've closed, so there are some missing here and there.

I don't usually do anything to celebrate, although if I remember I'll try and make a new layout for a big anniversary. Boggles my mind how old some of these sites are.

Keeping track of site birthdays is fun. I'm always surprised to learn how old some of my sites actually are.
