Do you have a game that you always turn to for decompressing and destressing?
Mine would have to be:
- Quake III (game of choice for calming down and letting out some steam)
- Simcity 3000 (official game of sick days)

Halo is my usual go to. When I'm stressed I like to kill aliens. (On the hardest difficulty of course, so I can yell at my TV every time I die. It's cathartic, I swear.)
If I have more time I usually start replaying one of my favorite games (FF12, FF7, FF6, etc). I find playing a game I've beaten half a dozen times very comforting for some reason. Usually I get really into it and start figuring out ways to challenge myself in new playthroughs. Gives me something to look forward to every day when life is stressful.

When I was upset I used to play Soul Caliber 2 and beat the heck out of people.
These days I prefer to play something simple and mindless, usually pick-up games. I'll play Tsum Tsum on my phone or DoodleFit, which is a puzzle game I downloaded from the eShop. There's also this cute cat game that I have that is a puzzle game with cats and it's VERY mindless and cute.

I'll usually play something on my 3DS. It has to be something that makes me think so my mind shifts to the game instead of how I'm feeling. Works like a charm.
Sometimes I'll also go fishing on World of Warcraft which surprising works really well as there isn't much thinking involved with it.

Used to play Animal Crossing all the time for stress relief ^_^ want to get back into it but I have to find/repair all my game systems. (My house eats things. >_<)

Mine has to be a platformer. I LOVE RPGS, but they take too much attention. Platformers are fun, but require little thought. My favorite is Super Mario Bros (any of the games), but I can do Rayman, Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter...

lol I'm the opposite, I could play RPGs in my sleep, but need more focus for platformers or I'll miss the jumps, run into something, etc. XD

Mikari, same with me. I get SOO frustrated playing platformers when I make stupid mistakes like falling into a pit or bumping into an enemy. ORZ A visual-based rpg is a lot easier and less mental energy for me. Point, click, point, click.
