I'll start! Some shrines I would love to see:

• Samus Aran from Metroid
• Mega Man from Mega Man
• Anyone from Mortal Kombat
• Anyone from X-Men
• Chrono Trigger characters!

I might try to tackle a couple of these myself.

Awesome idea, Todd! I'd love to see:

InuYasha characters
Rurouni Kenshin characters
Hiei, Kurama or Yuusuke from Yuu Yuu Hakusho
X-Men characters
Any Pokemon from the original 151 (or 251 for that matter)

It's a great idea to post suggestions here. Sites I'd like to see include any characters from:

Ronin Warriors
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy (all the ones that fit into the era)
Phantasy Star (same as above)
Slayers
Tenchi Muyo/Universe
Dragon Ball Z

and a lot of others, but I'll never finish if I try to post them all.

I second the Slayers, Tenchi Muyo, Ruroni Kenshin, Yu Yu hakusho chars... but I would also like to see:
- old gundams - all the ones before 2000
- robot stuff (mazinger, jetter and co.)
- someone should read Versailles no Bara °_°
- 90s TV Shows (Saved by the bell, fresh prince, ect)
- and I'll stop here

Lord of the Rings. Seriously. (I am very tentatively considering something, but I want to see others.)

Also stuff from more than just the 80's and 90's would be awesome. I know most of us are children of that era but since we've got the whole century to work with I'd love to see things from earlier times as well. Most of my plans are centered around that time period so I can't really talk but hopefully someone will do something!

@Larissa: My Old School shrine is on The Sound of Music (1965)--I, too, wanted to do something a little unconventional.

Also, I hope to create a shrine for something from LotR soon--if not in 2015, then in 2016. That is, if my brain doesn't get set on fire with OMGSHRINELSKDJF:LSDKJFLSKDJF and I end up finishing both the series and the shrine in like a week. (It's happened before xD)
