Yup, that should do the trick. The enemies in the Dead Dunes will kick your ass; just go there to pick up the garb (the outfitter is right outside the train station) and head back to Luxerion.
The Wildlands gets a lot easier once you get a chocobo -- that's one of the main questlines there. (Also Lightning with the chocobo is the cutest thing ever, omfg.)
As for me, been playing Bravely Default. I did not realize I wanted a spiritual successor to FF5 but now that I have it I am never letting it go.

Okay thank you. If I have the time in Day 1, it would it be a good idea to grab the garb then too? Of course, I figured it would be that way in the Wilderlands. Oh I look forward to that. ^-^ Thank you Larissa!
^-^ Job classes are awesome. I beat Bravely Default last night, so I think I'll focus on Lightning Returns.

*rolls around* Castlevania: Lord of Shadows......... wtf is with the bosses combat - everyone has something specific that I first need 1 hour to understand (and being beat in to a bloody pulp) before I actually get what I have to do ._.

Started with friend on Final Fantasy XIV - I'm liking it :) it's a way of doing something together my friend :)
