So after months I apparently took my DS lite back into my hands and started playing Avalon Code again XD
I don't blame you, it's hard! Don't feel bad about playing it on Easy if you need to, it's a really challenging game. Definitely the hardest FF game I've played in years.Cherri wrote:I set Lightning Returns down, I think I'm gonna restart it. I'm not grasping it at all. @.@ But I'm still playing Bravely Default here and there.

I just got Bravely Default myself and am really enjoying it so far C:
Haha, I already beat itCherri wrote:I am playing it on easy. I wanted to enjoy the story. ^-^ But I'm like "What am I doing?" I'm not very far (day 2), so I don't really lose anything. How far did you get?
Bravely Default is lots of fun~
Well then I guess you enjoyed it thoroughly. ^-^ Good job! Actually I do have a question! In the first city when I'm waiting for time to pass, I can stay and do side quest until I can stalk the Assassin Creed guys, right? I don't have to leave the city? I get a little confused because while I'm running around Hope and Lightning are talking but I'm focused on where I need to go and miss parts of the conversation. I had that problem in the first games too.Larissa wrote:Haha, I already beat itIf you get stuck don't hesitate to ask me, I can help you out. Taking a break from it rn but I'm gonna go back and play it again on Normal on New Game +, then on Hard.
Oh yeah, you can run around and do whatever, and you can leave if you want -- actually when you have some free time it's quite useful to head to the Dead Dunes from Luxerion South Station and buy the Passion Rouge garb from the outfitter right outside the station there, as it's a very useful garb in the early days.Cherri wrote:Well then I guess you enjoyed it thoroughly. ^-^ Good job! Okay! I went to the Wild Lands and I'm kinda getting beat up bad. So instead, day 1 hang out in the first town until complete and then swing over to Dead Dunes when I get a chance. So I'll start over and do this.Larissa wrote:Oh yeah, you can run around and do whatever, and you can leave if you want -- actually when you have some free time it's quite useful to head to the Dead Dunes from Luxerion South Station and buy the Passion Rouge garb from the outfitter right outside the station there, as it's a very useful garb in the early days.
There's a Quests option in the menu when you get stuck that'll get you back on track and tell you what you need to do, generally. On the very first day just stick around until 00:00, iirc, and then follow the cultists to the graveyard, staying a ways behind them so they don't notice.
I s2g my memory for this kind of thing is ridiculous. Couldn't tell you what's on my shopping list, but quests in video games I'm all over.
