Once I get going, it'll take about a month. Like Larissa, I wrote roughly a page a day until I'm done. Many days I write more, but I try to make myself write at least one. Unfortunately, getting going is the tough part.

I think it depends on the complexity of the shrine/topic for me: Kanji I probably finished within a month or two, whereas Ranka and Gintoki took months because I had to re-watch lengthy series and do quite a bit of research. I also tend to write quite slow and be very methodical about the process, so I probably work on the slower end of the stick than most people here. XD A lot of times it's also just a matter of battling for free time, laziness, and other life obligations.

Years ago, I think it would have taken me about a week to do my sites... these days, however? My current site revamp has taken me around a month so far. I feel that the quality of fan sites has really gone up considerably over the last 10 years in terms of content. I like to try to write really professional, easy to read articles for every section and it often takes a lot of research to confirm my facts.

My old sites, I'd just write everything up pretty quickly. XD I cared a lot about providing correct, accurate information but these days I put a lot of focus on making each section easy to understand for strangers to the series. I also like to try to illustrate each article with at least one image to break up a wall of text a bit nicer.

I tried to make a one-page shrine recently and I just couldn't do it, lol! XD

To me it depends how much topics I want to include. If it's a one page, a couple of days or a week is good enough. But if it's a huge shrine, it takes me months or even a year to finish.

I have definitely found that my shrines are taking me longer nowadays. I'm not in such a rush to get something up thats not even half way done. I was surprised that even doing a shrine for Chow, who has so little info readily available took me a week.

As for Juvia i've been working since the beginning of May and im still nowhere near done. I'm kinda amazed lol.

I've chosen a few months cause, really, it depends on the motivation and if I'm not too busy in real life. ;P

Haha I take years to finish shrines. I mean in a few cases they've taken months but... two of the ones I've been working on now were abandoned for a year or two and I'm just getting back into working on them. I'm lazy!

This is interesting... I picked "A Few Months" but it actually depends on a variety of different factors how fast I can do a shrine. I used to be able to do them in a day when I didn't have have adult obligations and high standards for my work. Now, due to lack of time and higher standards, it can take a few months or even more. I'll write stuff then scrap it and start over and leave it and do other things and before I know it that thing is still sitting on the back burner.

And as other people have mentioned: it does depend on my mood as well. XD

Usually I notice I can work for a few days or a week and finish everything I want to cover. The first two shrines I ever released took 13 weeks because they were school projects so I would work on them as part of my grade (and the completion of the site was actually my final grade) and so I broke up the task with other projects and papers for other classes. But I devoted entire days to that.

Although I’ve worked upwards of a month to finish something. A lot of that is the design process that gives me a struggle. The writing and arranging of content takes me a lot less time. A lot of it depends on if I’m in the middle of the subject while working on the site and my work schedule. I get weirdly inspired and that means that part of the time I can just it and write and it’s all I do.

LOL I was just going to ask this question! (I'm trying to figure out how to schedule my time with my creative work so that I can actually get stuff DONE instead of just talking about it....) So thanks for all the responses!
