What I thought was interesting in the intro is how they talk about how Link and Zelda got their names.

Apparently, Link's name was picked because he is supposed to "connect" the player with the game, NOT because "Link" is German for left. They said that he originally was going to be right-handed but was made left-handed due to the way sprites and animations were done.

Funny, I thought that was always the case actually. :0 Nice to know the confirmation though. What about Zelda? All I heard was she was based on Zelda Fitzgerald but I think I'm completley wrong about that.

Robin Williams named his daughter Zelda after Princess Zelda from the games because he is a fan. I think that's cool.
