Does the Dark Hour theme on exist in P3/P3P or is it in other Persona games as well?

It's only in P3/P3P. However in P4 there is the TV world, where you can access dungeons.

The theme of the Dark Hour itself isn't on other games, but the mechanics of it are reworked in P4 in a similar way. While Tartarus is the dungeon in P3 that can be accessed on any day during nighttime because of the Dark Hour, in P4 there is the TV World, that can be accessed on any day during the afternoon through a television you can interact with.

Overexplaining will kind of kill the fun, but honestly the differences between P3 and P4 are much more thematic than mechanic. P4 feels a lot more upbeat than P3 did because the settings aren't so dark. But gameplay-wise, pretty much every concept from P3 is recycled and reworked. I think I'm making it seem like P4 is a bad game but it's actually my favorite of the two

The TV world is better than it sounds, it's like an alternate dimension. I still liked the plot of P3 better, but P4 is still fun and has more varied dungeons.

I'M HYPED and not just because I crossover ship Junpei and Kanji. The art style is ADORABLE and the game looks very fun. Unlike the previous games, it uses the Etrian Odyssey system. Anyone planning on getting it? I preordred the Premium version on Amazon and I hope to get it soon after launch.
