AHHH I love this project idea. I love yours, Todd, with all the little warp pipes. It's such a cool idea! It's also a great substitute for a contact page.

I love yours too, Larissa! I love the little icons for each site, and I love the pretty graphic. Ahh *_* I want to make a guestbook too.

I'm late to reply, but Larissa, that is a gorgeous layout & setup you have there! Also I just thought I'd let you know I'm seeing some admin options next to the date, which I'm not sure are supposed to be visible for everyone? (delete, reply, view IP)

Yeah, I couldn't find an option to hide those, and figured it was more trouble than it was worth to manually go in and hide/unhide them every time, haha.

Aaaah, I see. Yeah, I can totally get that being annoying to do for every entry, haha.

Well, five months after setting up this topic, I'm finally delivering too. /o\ Here's my guestbook! Feels good to finally have one again - after what must be like 12 years.

Hi! I love that you all like guestbooks! All of them look amazing and I'm drooling over your skills right now :blank:

I got my guestbook done last week I think, for the first time in years! haha I used to use an old, free one back in... what, 2007? wow.
I used Bella Book and now I have read what you said about it being spammy but I really couldn't for the life of me understand the coding of the other PHP guestbook you guys are using and just gave up on it and decided to use this one.

And now you say it's not really recommended heheheee :pale2: It'll have to do for now! I don't get many visits so I won't bother too much. If I ever find a good customization tutorial for the PHP Guestbook, I'll change it!
My guestbook is here

@Janna did you also use the Akismet plugin for Bellabook? It does help somewhat.

One of these days one of us will have to learn PHP and code a better guestbook lmao

Ehmm no I didn't, I should :eyes: And yes, if anyone ever codes up a better guestbook, they will surely have many users for it here!
Edit: What I dislike about Bella Book is that I can't reply to the entries >_> I need to learn to use PHP Guestbook argh
