Layout Help Needed D:

Post by Eimii »

Hey guys, so im working on a layout at the moment, not sure what im going to use it for but i've seen to hit a roadblock. My render has some white around lighting's head...i dont know how to blend or get rid of it. i tried a lighter background on top but it doesn't really help the situation. ^^;

Sadly every version of this render i find has it so im unsure what to do. I really want to use this render. Any tips or suggestions would be lovely.

I would select Lightning's head, make the selection fuzzy, then run white to transparency in that area, and on a lower layer re-add the white to her head, painting with a softer brush around her hair so that it blends in the background.

I assume you use Photoshop, and since I use The GIMP I'm just using the names of what the functions would be instead of the names they actually have in the software, so this might be a little confusing; sorry. I can screenshot the process if you want, though.

edit: i think i found something similar.... for the changing the white to transparency. now its just a matter of getting it to look good @_@
