Thank you ladies! This is going pretty good. Oh, I think I love everything you all mentioned! And don't worry about 3am post not making any sense, I understood it.

Pre-2000 video games?
As in shrines/tributes to video games that came before the year 2000 ?
:)

Maybe Retro Anime/Manga too?

Edit: unsure if these would qualify for short activities?

I always enjoy the banner trade! And when I did the scavenger hunt, it was a lot of fun. :)

I love the idea of a retro/nostalgic theme. If it becomes a reality, maybe we could include other media as well? Like cartoons and movies?

I'd like to see the banner trade come back, I'm terrible at making link buttons for my own sites.

This is little inspired by the upcoming Sailor Moon reboot, I admit, but: I'd really love to see a marathon based around magical girl subjects. I don't think there have been any events really focused on female characters and series since the Girl Mode marathon years ago, and the magical girl genre is large enough for a variety of fansite subjects to come out of it.

Holy smokes, I was about to suggest the same thing, too! Only my cut-off date would be 2005 or so, haha. But definitely YES for retro anime/manga/video games!

I'm not sure how that would work, but how about bilingual/multilingual shrines?

I'm all up for retro games *.*

I could do a bilingual shrine too.

A bilingual site would be a good opportunity to practice my French, that's for sure. (Also my Irish, I guess, but I don't know if I hate myself that much). It would certainly be a challenge!

@ Chibi, Pre-2005 might be a good idea, too there are a TON of great games 2000-2005! ^_^

@ Sarah, I totally agree, I feel like retro subjects in all areas would be awesome! :)

I am unfortunately single-lingual, so 8'D...
