Board Changes: New Admin, New Theme, New Everything!

Hey fam!
First off, us admins would like to thank all of our members for bearing with us through this transition. We’ve been going through a lot of changes this year--and we still are--so please excuse the mess!
New Admin
As of a few weeks ago, Camy has joined the admin team as the Awards & Directory Administrator (though she helps out in other areas as well!). She brings with her a lot of experience in working at Amassment, serving as the Awards Lead for many years. We are super excited to have her on board and want to thank her for stepping up to help during this crucial time! Thank you, Camy!
Facelift 2k17
It’s pretty obvious that the board looks pretty different as we’ve updated phpBB recently. Covered below are some of the new changes we’ve worked on:
Dubiousdisc has been making some changes around the forums as well, so please look forward to an announcement with all the changes!.

It’s pretty obvious that the board looks pretty different as we’ve updated phpBB recently. Covered below are some of the new changes we’ve worked on:
- New theme - Our new themes have plenty of new features, so please have a look around! Included under Quick Links at the top left corner is “Active Topics” where you can view all the latest posts. Also, if you’ve noticed, our header is interactive! You can hover and click on it to change the animation.
- Additional themes - In addition to our default light theme (Milk), we also have another light theme (Avalanche) and a dark theme (Ravaio) available for those who are interested. You can change the theme under Board Preferences in your Control Panel. All new themes are responsive and mobile friendly.
- @mentions - Perhaps one of our more exciting new features is the ability to mention another user in your post. You can use BBCode or type in “@(user)”, which automatically converts it to BBCode. Users will be notified if they have been mentioned in a post.
- Notifications inbox - Users now have a notifications inbox in the top right corner (bell symbol) for @mentions, posts they’re following, etc.
- Drafts and Topic Preview - Due to high demand, we’ve added these as new extensions! Drafts can be accessed via your Control Panel
- Avatar upload - We’ve been notified that some avatars uploaded off-site haven't been working on the boards, so we've given users the ability to upload an avatar to the site.
