That's so cute, Mikari!! Good idea, just making it like a splash page.

To answer the question of the topic: I have actually made a Christmas layout before for my domain! That was a few years ago. It was Elf-themed because, well, Elf. :D Since I knew it would be a temporary layout, I went ahead and made the layout that would proceed it ahead of time. So New Year's Day (or the day after) I was able to take the Christmas layout down and put the new one up. That was nice.

I'd love to do that again this year, but I guess I better hurry if I do. I would want it up by the day after Thanksgiving at the latest. Also I think I would again make a new layout ahead of time to put up after the holidays.

I honestly can't remember if I've ever done this. If I did it was too long ago. I think I may have done it with my first fanlisting collective back when I was super crazy into them as during that time I was ALWAYS working on a new fanlisting or revamping something or whatever. Nowadays though it feels like I don't have time to revamp a site so often so I don't think doing a themed layout would really work out, unless maybe if I switched back to the previous layout after the holiday was over but even that would be extra work to do.

Christmas layout! I actually already finished the layout for January, so I just need to rename the php when the time comes to change it. XD I wanted to make sure I didn't go out of season.
