You could try using the book covers instead and if they don't have one, make one up :D
I accept your challenge, "high prince", but I am no general.

I used to have one to Ged from the Earthsea series! (But it is no longer online.) I used a collage of different visuals that I felt represented the character and the story. There aren't any good or accurate depictions of him so I wanted to be more abstract.

I saw some sites in the past where the designer made photocomposites of what they thought the character should look like. That always kind of stuck with me.

@Destinie Cool! That's a great idea to use visuals that aren't exactly "character sketches," but it gives the right effect for the character :D

(What made you take down your Ged shrine, btw? Just curious)

That's actually an interesting idea for a shrine. I'd love to see how this turns out.

Thanks! :D

I just wasn't really satisfied with it and when I get tired of a site, or feel it doesn't fit my standards, I just take them offline and/or delete them. (I'm trying not to do this with some current sites.)

Ah, ok--yeah, I did that with a couple of my early sites, though I still have the files if I wanted to put them up in archival mode. (Miiiiiight do that, but the content needs a LOT of love before I'd let them all go live again xD)
