I read the first two books in The Southern Vampire Mysteries! They're actually really good if you get past the porn... lol, I'm just kidding. They are good though.

I got up to number six in that series, as far as I can remember. I found them silly but enjoyable at first, but they just got worse and worse and omfg I can't STAND Sookie. :/

Anyway, I really want to pick up Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel soon, hopefully tomorrow. It's the sequel to Wolf Hall, and is a historical novel about Thomas Cromwell. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in Tudor history or anyone that loves beautifully written books. Wolf Hall is AMAZING. And both Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies won the Man Booker, if anyone cares about that.

I'll probably reread Wolf Hall before I start Bring Up the Bodies. Right now I'm reading Beyond Black, another book by Hilary Mantel which is enjoyable enough (but it's no Wolf Hall).

I wish I could erase my memory of reading Wolf Hall, so I could read it again and have it all be new. *_*

@Todd
I rather liked them except the last one I read (#11) which is probably the reason its taken me this long to read the next one.

@Emma
I'm fine with Sookie. Bill is the one who annoys me. My favorite chars are Eric and Pam though.

My problem with Sookie is EVERYONE loves her like she's the hottest, most desirable woman in the world. It gets to a point where it's just unrealistic...
