Haha, it isn't mine either but I still think it would be fun to do. Gives me an excuse not to spend so much time on the computer. *hides*

lol XD I quit reading when I got a reliable reader software... actually I already avoided it before then, like for my whole life. Hate it... but I love stories! Having the computer read is the way to go. :D

lol That's why I specified it's Book Month at Amassment. Country doesn't matter!

I'm not sure yet! I'm off Wednesday and will decide then. I am leaning toward rereading The Hunger Games for a shrine, or rereading one of my favorite novels of all time, Richard Matheson's I Am Legend.

A question: Does reading fanfiction count as reading?
if yes: I'm totaly into sterek and mcdanno fanfictions, and not forget the superhusbands. There are some real "novel" perls out there on AO3

What do you plan to read for the month of October?
Ah! I have so many things I'd like to read. The fifth book of Koontz's Frankenstein and maybe O'Brian's Master and Commander. I have books STACKED up that need to be read, but I've been reading textbooks because of classes.

Are you going to set yourself a challenge for National book Month?

If I do that, I fear I'd grow bored with it and give it up almost immediately when I didn't have a chance to read. Unfortunately school work takes priority since I have a huge test coming up next month and I badly need to study for it.

Todd: I am Legend is amazing! :D <3 I should read that again.
My dear, the truth is simple. We're all mad here.

Of course it does! But the point of our focus for reading in October is so that members would make shrines to something from literature after this month. Events post will be up soon explaining more. :)

I do want to read I Am Legend. I have a bunch of non-fiction I am working through and next I want to read the Collection of Sherlock Holmes. I've never read any but I did like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World.
