Hi team!
  • I am Sophia. I think there's already a Sofia. I'm the ph kind. Makes me alkaline?
  • I have lurked shrines forever, and always wanted to start making my own.
  • I've recently built, and hosted, my domain, http://raygunsue.org.
  • No need to click. There's nothing there.
  • Except dreams.
I've always really appreciate the thought and skill that goes into creating the code, the graphics, and the content of a shrine to a character. In a bizarre, maybe-creepy way, I've started my domain as a way of achieving my 13-year-old self's dream of doing some of that myself. Here are my ideas:
  1. Quistis Trepe, FFVIII.
  2. Cath or Kaho, of Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight.
  3. Red, of Transistor.
  4. Kana Rua or Aloth, of Pillars of Eternity.
  5. Urdnot Wrex, of Mass Effect.
  6. Zenobia Fox, of Meljean Brook's The Kraken King steampunk romance.
I do game! And I write a bit sometimes on a blog, http://hits.raygunsue.org. I'm hoping to use shrining to encourage myself to write, and learn, and game with greater focus. Recently I've played Owlboy (TEARS), hope to replay an FF game over the holiday, but am also playing Overwatch, Pillars of Eternity I am Setsuna, Dragon Fin Soup, Kentucky Route Zero, and Diary of a Spaceport Janitor. Whatever I feel like I can handle at the end of a work day.

This seems a bit pointlessly long, but please know I'm really excited about the prospect of shrining, and joining this community!

Welcome welcome, fellow writer and designer! ^O^

I know those feelings of "graduating with a degree and now what," plus the additional feeling of "I'm supposed to be doing ~productive things~ because I am in my ~late twenties~ so, um, what gives?" (Except for me it's "I'm in my ~early thirties~ homg" xD)

I'm really looking forward to your shrines--for me, getting into this community really spurred me on to create more and more, and to have more mental energy overall. I can just about guarantee it'll be the same for you! :)

Welcome! :D

Hey, it's never too late to achieve any dream, whichever the dream. So come aboard and make a shrine! Feel proud! Then make another! Make fifteen! Just do the thing!

And how could you say "no need to click". You kidding, reading through your page of dreams was totally worth it in itself. (And your usernames are great.)

I'll be looking forward to whatever you make! Have fun!
