Amy from Alexiel.net here

Post by alexielnet »

A lot of you already know me, but I am Amy and I own Alexiel.net I have been making shrines for 15 years now, though most of the old ones are very, very dead. I haven't been very active lately and a lot of you know why but I might as well tell everyone. I have been sick and apparently it is Adrenocortical Carcinoma which has made website building a bit of a problem. I have been lurking around a bit and have enjoyed the new projects though. I hope to still participate as part of the community when I have the time. =) I really like a lot of the members around here and think you create great websites.

Hi Amy, welcome to the boards! I've always been super impressed by the amount of shrines you maintain. :) And the fact that they are all so gorgeous and full of content makes it even more impressive.

I am so sorry about your illness. Stay strong.

Hey Amy, welcome! Love your collection!

I am really sad to hear about your health. I hope you can kick it in the butt and get well. You're in my thoughts. Hopefully it's not an aggressive cancer. :(

Hi Amy!

Your Utena shrines are my favorite and Storybook Children actually inspired me to do my own collection on another series and expand on each character with analysis and viewpoints. ^-^ Your Utena sites have really made me love the series more and I'm so impressed with each one you made!

I'm sorry about your health and I hope you get better!

Hi! :D I've read quite a few of your shrines over the years and like them a lot; I like how they often explore and have multiple sections dedicated to particular traits of a character. I read Clover by Clamp a few years back and your shrine was the first I found when looking around for reviews and discussions to see what others thought of it, and I still think that it's a very inspiring shrine that manages to sum up Clover's key moments and main themes in an elegant way.

I hope that you're fine!
