Re: Awful (or Good!) Book to Movie translations
Trufax: I only want to see the Hobbit because of Aidan Turner. Never was interested in LotR, but just seeing one of my favorite actors in something is enough for me to try and get interested in something. I just hope he isn't a total background character because then I'll sob (such talent shouldn't ...

Re: Star Wars
I'm a minority with the majority of people I know in that I'm not a fan of the series of films and never got into it at all (I found it quite boring tbh). ):

Re: Recently watched movies
Recently watched Brave, and I was disappointed. I went in with high hopes, but left with like "uh...that's it? Nothing really happens in this movie? Ok." I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it, as we got it on $7 via Amazon.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I'd personally like Link to stay as a silent protagonist. I don't necessarily feel he is an audience surrogate. He's like Mario in that Mario makes grunts and whoo-hoos, but he still has somewhat of his own personality separate from the audience. We're experiencing the story in their shoes. I would ...

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog!
I'm not a huge fan of the 2D games. I was more exposed to the games and enjoyed them in Sonic Adventure. I played the crap out of that on my smexy Dreamcast. It remains my favorite Sonic game to date. I played SA2 and recently now I got Sonic Generations which is hella gorgeous on an hdtv. Sonic got...

Re: Kingdom Heart series
I'm not a fan of Kingdom Hearts. The gameplay was annoying, confusing and awkward (along with the usability), I didn't really like the story, and the characters are meh and boring. I don't get the fascination with it, but to each their own!

Re: What are you playing?
Currently, Majora's Mask. :) I've been mapping out what I want to do in each cycle and what would be the best route to go. This game is freaking long, I can't imagine what paths someone would do if they were to speed run it.

Re: Favorite Final Fantasy?
I will also be somewhat cliche and say FF7 because it was my very first Final Fantasy game. On with FF8 and FF9 (highly underrated). I'm not a fan of the newer ones since I'm not really a turn-based RPG fan unless it's like Pokemon or something or if I'm replaying one of these FF games. None of the ...
