Re: New Layout: Angel - Comment?
Love it! My only suggestion is perhaps give the FL buttons a little more room - more space between the introduction and the buttons? That's kind of niggling, granted... Anyway, the colours are lovely and it's appealing to dive in and read.

Oscar Wilde
I noticed that a lot of members have listed The Picture of Dorian Gray as one of their favourite books. So I thought we could talk about Oscar, since the only thing worse than talking about him is not talking about him. (Or so he would say.) Some discussion points: 1. What's your favourite work of h...

Re: Recently watched movies
Back to the theatre this week for Cloud Atlas. Kind of walked the line between convincing philosophical queries and New Age nonsense, but certainly a lot of thrills along the way.

Re: Has a shrine ever gotten you into a fandom?
I'd have to say that some of the earliest shrines on the 'net got me into Final Fantasy , a longtime fandom. Unlike many folks, I hadn't played the NES/SNES games as a kid, but enjoyed playing several of the titles beginning in high school, thanks to reading about them through shrines. In retrospect...

Re: Western RPGs
Like Varen, I tend to associate RPGs with medieval-type fantasy settings (or at least techno-fantasy) rather than science fiction. That said, I love SF books and films, so I should give Mass Effect a try. Likewise, I haven't tried any Elder Scrolls titles, and they look gorgeous, so the recent ones ...

RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race! Watching Season 1, Episode 4 (of 6) today. I'm finding it a bit of a rehash (Ru-hash?) of previous seasons & Drag U, but I'll pretty much watch anything with these queens in it.

Re: Recently watched movies
I liked Skyfall a lot too... Still not as good as Casino Royale, but respectable all around. It's great to have so many of the old characters back in new incarnations.
